Dear Colleagues,
I am most delighted to invite you all to the International Colorectal Disease Symposium (ICDS) 2011 in Hong Kong from 24 to 26 February 2011.
With the joint effort and contribution of medical professionals all over the world, treatment regimes, techniques and technology continue to break new grounds. The innovative breakthroughs attained by our counterparts are particularly impressive. With all the achievement along our path, we have adopted the theme “Innovation and Strategy” for ICDS 2011. It is high time celebrating the success and sharing the excitement in the revealing of innovative clinical advancement in colorectal disease through a variety of live demonstrations, panel discussion and dialectic lectures.
The is the fifth ICDS held in Hong Kong since it was first conducted in 2002. It has always been a representative flagship event that offers medical experts with an invaluable opportunity to show the recent advances in the treatment of colorectal disease.
ICDS 2011 will be different from the usual academic symposium you attend. Here, we celebrate the contribution and achievement in the treatment of colorectal disease and share the visions of clinical leaders and international world-class faculties from the United States, Europe, Asia-Pacific regions, and our local professionals. The advanced progression on the latest treatment of colorectal disease is indeed a marvelous achievement!
Same as ICDS 2009, the symposium will be held at HKEC Training Centre for Healthcare Management and Clinical Technology which is located in Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. The high technology audiovisual and video-conferencing facilities in the Centre provide us an inspiring learning environment to acquire and share experience and best practices. Moreover, Hong Kong is a cosmopolitan city that you will never forget once you have been in such an energetic city with warm hospitality.
I am sure it is going to be a rewarding and enjoyable symposium. Come and experience this unforgettable event. We look forward to celebrating with you in Hong Kong.
Yours sincerely,

Prof. Michael K W LI
